How to Use This Site

Welcome to the Vision Forum. We at Saint Matthew pray that this site will be a catalyst to making God’s vision for your life a reality. There are many ways to use this site.
This is a quick tutorial of how to use this site. If you are comfortable that you know how to use this site without reading any further than go ahead and get started. If you are having trouble getting the site to do what you want or are unsure of what to do here please read on.
First, I would recommend that you REGISTER.
1. Click Register on the options bar at the top of the page and you will be asked to agree to the terms of the page. Click I AGREE and continue to the information page.
2. Create a unique username that you will identify you throughout the site. A common one would be your first name and last initial (ex Ralph S.)
3. Enter your E-mail password. This will not be used for any solicitation or spam e-mails. The Vision Forum uses this to contact you when people respond to your posts, or when someone would like to contact you directly. Your e-mail will never be given out to anyone without your approval.
4. Enter a password that you should remember and use everytime you sign into the sign.
5. Click Submit and you’ll be asked to confirm your password again. Once you do this you will receive a confirmation e-mail. Sign into the e-mail address that you registered with the site and click the confirmation link within the e-mail sent from Vision Forum.
6. Your account has now been created and you are ready to use the site.
7. The next time you visit the site you should click the Log-In icon on the options bar and enter the username and password you chose.
8. You are now have access to read, write, and reply to any posting on the site. Enjoy!
READING POSTS
Everyone is allowed to write on this site. This is meant for people to share what they are thinking and to hear back from others. In order to see what people are writing you will need to know how to read a post or topic.
1. From the mainpage click on the topic you would like to see what people wrote about.
2. Review the posts that people have made along with the names of who made them.
3. Simply click on the title of the post to read the full text of what was written.
CREATE A NEW POST
When you have something that you would like to write that is not in response to something that has already been posted on the site you will need to create a new post.
1. From the mainpage click on the topic that you want your post to go under. If you cannot find an appropriate topic, feel free to post under the main headings, EXPLORE, SHARE, or FOLLOW.
2. Click NEW TOPIC
3. Enter a clear subject for your post.
4. Write the information in the field below the subject line
5. Click PREVIEW to see what your post will look like.
6. When you are satisfied with your post click SEND.
7. Your topic will then appear on the website under the topic you chose
REPLY TO A POST
When you would like to respond to something that is already posted on the site you will need to post a reply.
1. From the mainpage click on the topic that you want your post to go under. If you cannot find an appropriate topic, feel free to post under the main headings, EXPLORE, SHARE, or FOLLOW.
2. Click POST REPLY
3. Enter a clear subject for your post.
4. Write the information in the field below the subject line
5. Click PREVIEW to see what your post will look like.
6. When you are satisfied with your post click SEND.
7. Your topic will then appear on the website under the post you chose
8. Your reply will also be sent to the person who wrote the initial post
